BEVERLY, Mass. - Today's home non-conference match between Endicott and Springfield has been cancelled. The Gulls will now spend the next two days preparing for their CCC Semifinal match against Roger Williams on Wednesday, October 17th at 2:00 pm.
The #2 seed Gulls host the #3 seed Roger Williams in the conference semifinals for the second straight year. Last year, Endicott defeated Roger Williams 5-0 to advance into the CCC Championship where they eventually handed the top seed Nichols a 5-3 loss on their home court.
Earlier in the season, the Gulls and Hawks faced off at Endicott's South Campus Courts where the Blue and Green won 6-3 after taking two out of three doubles matches and four out of six singles matches. Endicott is currently 12-2 overall while Roger Williams is 9-3, coming off a 5-0 win in the CCC Quarterfinals over #6 Salve Regina.
In the other semifinal match, #4 Curry travels to #1 Nichols for a 2:00 pm start on Wednesday.
