SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Tennis Tournament begins today with quarterfinal play, but the conference took time to announce the honorees on the All-CCC squad which recognized the league's best players of the regular season.

Endicott, who finished regular season play as the #2 seed heading into the playoffs with an 11-2 (7-1 CCC) record, saw six student-athletes appear on the All-CCC Teams which was nominated and voted upon by the league's head coaches and announced today by CCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye.  Three Endicott players were repeat winners while the other three earned their first all-conference nods of their careers.  

Headlining Endicott's All-CCC winners were First Team Singles players junior Emilie Cloutier (Lewiston, Maine) and sophomore Chrissy Martel (Westbrook, Conn.).  Cloutier, playing her first season as the team's #1 singles player, led all CCC players with five wins in top flight conference singles matches and finished with a 9-2 overall record in singles.  Cloutier earns her second All-CCC singles award after garnering First Team honors in 2011. 

Martel has made a major impact thus far this fall after going 10-3 overall and 7-1 in league singles matches.  Martel went 6-1 (5-1 CCC) primarily at the #2 singles position with an additional two wins at the #1 spot early in the season.  This is Martel's first appearance on an All-CCC singles team. 

Sophomore #3 singles star Natalie Egbert (Gorham, Maine) was named to the All-CCC Second Team Singles team one year after earning an Honorable Mention nod for totaling an 11-1 overall record with an unblemished 7-0 mark in CCC play this season.  Six of her seven wins came at the #3 position with one win at the #2 flight. 

Sophomore Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.) continued to be a dominate player for Endicott and in the conference at #4 singles after going unbeaten at 13-0 (7-0 CCC).  Heacox went 5-0 at #4 singles with another two wins at #3 singles in CCC matches.  She was named to the All-CCC Honorable Mention Singles quad for the second season in-a-row. 

All three Endicott doubles duos were recognized with postseason honors with Egbert and Martel being named All-CCC First Team Doubles with a 9-3 (6-1 CCC) record.  Their only loss came in a 9-8 (7-3) defeat against the Roger Williams top doubles pairing.  In 2011, Egbert was placed on the Honorable Mention Doubles team with then partner Laura MacLeod.  Martel collected her first doubles postseason award for her career. 

Endicott's #2 double team of Cloutier and senior captain Gina Pinciaro (Beverly, Mass.) were named to the All-CCC Second Team after going 10-1 (6-1 CCC) with a 9-1 overall record at the second position.  Cloutier earned her second All-CCC Doubles award, after being named Honorable Mention last fall, while Pinciaro gets her first-ever collegiate All-CCC recognition.  Pinciaro also compiled a 6-4 overall singles record across the #4 through #6 flights. 

Finally, Endicott's undefeated #3 doubles combination of Heacox and freshman Brittany Potter (Bedford, N.H.) collected All-CCC Honorable Mention Doubles accolades for their 2012 regular season in which they amassed a record of 11-0 (7-0 CCC).  Six of their seven conference wins came at the #3 position as they averaged a margin of victory of 5.4 games per win. 

The CCC's major conference award winners included Player of the Year Anna Dyakiv (Nichols), Rookie of the Year Caitlin Corcoran (Wentworth), Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Y ear Linda Mustafa (Western New England), Coach of the Year Paul Brower (Nichols), and Team Sportsmanship Award winner Gordon.
