CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 1 Endicott Hosts No. 2 Roger Williams This Saturday (12 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. — The top-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (11-7) is set to host second-seeded Roger Williams (13-6) at Hempstead Stadium on Saturday at 12 PM. Here's a preview of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship game.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Saturday's matchup serves as the seventh consecutive meeting between the two schools in the CCC championship, and the 11th overall in championship history. 
  • The Gulls hold a 25-7 advantage in the all-time series over the Hawks. 
  • Endicott won the regular season matchup between, 12-10, on 4/8/23 in Bristol, Rhode Island.
  • Roger Williams ranks third nationally in assists per game with 10.53. 
  • Mandy Beck (Old Saybrook, Conn.) and Riley Cavanaugh (Manchester, N.H.) rank second and fourth in the conference with 56 and 51 goals respectively, while Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.) and Katie Wagner (Brewster, N.Y.) rank third and fourth in the league in assists with 33 and 29 apiece.

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
