Women's Lacrosse Defeats Curry, 18-2

CANTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse team bested Curry, 18-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Tuesday night at Katz Field.

Nicole Genga (Marlborough, Mass.), Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H), and Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.) recorded hat tricks in the convincing victory. 

Alex Palermo (Reading, Mass.) found the back of the net twice while, Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.), Annabelle Gray (Londonderry, Vt.), Mia Smith (Portsmouth, R.I), Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.), and KC O'Connor (Boston, Mass.)  and Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.) all buried solo tallies.

In goal, Kaitlin Bressette (Annadale, N.J.) made eight stops in her second start of the season (2-0).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORES 

  • Endicott is 24-3 in the all-time series versus Curry (17 consecutive victories). 
  • Genga generated the first hat trick of her collegiate career. 
  • Palermo leads the Gulls on goals (29) while Shenk trails behind by one tally (28). 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (8-6, 6-0 CCC) hosts Western New England (WNE) on Saturday, April 22 at 12 PM for its Senior Day. Curry travels to Wentworth on Wednesday, April 26 at 4 PM.
