No. 23 Bowdoin Bests Women’s Lacrosse, 23-13

BRUNSWICK, Maine — The Endicott women's lacrosse team fell to No. 23 nationally ranked Bowdoin, 23-13, in non-conference action on Wednesday night at Ryan Field. 

Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.) led the Gulls with four tallies, while Alex Palermo (Reading, Mass.) and Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H) found the back of the net three times.

Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.), Katy Garvin (Mansfield, Mass.), and Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.) also scored in the setback. 

In goal, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn made nine stops as her record moved to 7-7 on the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Bowdoin remains undefeated in the all-time series versus Endicott (14-0).
  • Garvin tied her season high in assists (3). 
  • Palermo has scored three or more tallies five times during the 2023 campaign.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (8-7) hosts Western New England on Saturday, April 22 at 12 PM for its Senior Day. Bowdoin (5-8) travels to Conn. College on Saturday, April 22 at 12 PM.
