Women’s Lacrosse Stampedes Nichols, 15-3

DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team routed Nichols, 15-3, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action on Saturday afternoon at Vendetti Field.  

The Gulls flew out to an early 11-0 advantage and never looked back.

Alex Palermo (Reading, Mass.) led all scorers with a game-high four goals in the dominating victory. 

Nicole Genga (Malborough, Conn.), Bailey Sheehan (Pomfret, Conn.), Carly Pierce (Exeter, N.H), and Katie Schenk (Southbury, Conn.) found the back of the net twice, while Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.), and Kiana Napolitano (Revere, Mass.) buried solo tallies to cap off the scoring efforts for Endicott. 

In goal, Kaitlin Bressette (Annadale, N.J.) turned away nine shots to earn her first collegiate win.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Endicott is a perfect 22-0 in the all-time series against Nichols. 
  • Palermo has scored four or more goals three times this season.
  • Genga recorded the second multi-tally game of her collegiate career. 
  • Napolitano notched five assists in the win, moving her into first place on the team leaderboard in the category.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (7-5, 5-0 CCC) hosts Wesleyan Sunday, April 16 at 1 PM. Nichols (8-5, 0-5 CCC) hosts Wentworth on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 PM.
