BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 15 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Curry, 5-2, on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Trailing 2-1 midway through the first period, the Gulls responded with four unanswered goals to run away with the conference victory.
Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) evened up the contest at 12:38 of the first — less than a minute after Curry took a 2-1 lead on the scoreboard (11:42).
From there, Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) buried her 36th career goal (tied fourth all-time) at 4:43 of the second to give Endicott a 3-2 advantage at the break.
Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) and Cammi Ahern (Oswego, N.Y.) followed with back-to-back tallies in the third (0:57 | 6:11, penalty shot) to cap the scoring.
Avari Maxwell (Wrentham, Mass.) was responsible for the Gulls' first strike in the opening period (10:55).
In goal, Lauren Ferrari (Bridgewater, N.J.) made 27 saves to improve to 4-1-0 overall.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Fantasia is tied for fourth all-time in goals (36 — Lexi Klein) and career points (36-37—71; Courtney Sullivan, 44-27—71).
- Ferrari has made 20 or more saves in four straight games.
- Endicott is 7-1-0 at home this season.
