PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — The Endicott women's ice hockey team fell to No. 3 Middlebury, 4-1, in non-conference action on Saturday evening at Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena.
The Panthers jumped on the Gulls early in the contest, scoring three times in the first 10 minutes. Lily Anderson (St. Paul, Minn.) got one back for Endicott following a faceoff win by Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) as the first period ended 3-1.
No. 3 Middlebury added another tally in the second period as neither team found the net the rest of the way.
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas.) made 31 saves in the setback.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Panthers remain undefeated all-time versus Endicott with a record of 10-0-2
- Middlebury finished the contest with a slight advantage in faceoffs, 26-25.
- Fantasia led the Gulls with 10 faceoff wins.

Endicott (5-3-0) will play St. Norbert College in the consolation game of the Panther/Cardinal Classic tomorrow at 2 PM.
No. 3 Middlebury (6-0-0) will play No. 6 Plattsburgh St. in the championship game tomorrow at 5 PM.
