Fantasia Named To NEWHA Division III Women’s All-Star Team

NEWHA RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott sophomore forward Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) has been selected to the New England Hockey Writers Association (NEWHA) Division III Women's All-Star Team for the first time in her career, as announced by the organization earlier this week.

Fantasia is now the seventh student-athlete in program history to earn NEWHA honors.

In 27 games played this season, Fantasia compiled 12 goals and seven assists for 19 points.

She scored three power play goals, three game-winners, and one game-tying goal to go along with a +8 plus/minus rating. 

Fantasia's CCC ranks include the following categories/stats: games (12th), points (8th), goals (3rd), assists (24th), +/- (20th), power play goals (4th), game-winning goals (3rd).

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott went 17-8-2 overall and 14-4-0 in conference play. The Gulls advanced to the conference championship game for the seventh straight season but fell to Suffolk, 2-1, in the title game, ending their three-run run as league champs.
