BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Endicott women's ice hockey team shut out the University of New England (UNE), 2-0, in conference action on Saturday night at the Harold Alfond Forum.
Nicole Connor (Wrentham, Mass.) scored the game-winner at the 11:39 mark of the second period off feeds from Jess Burwell (Hooksett, N.H.) and Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.).
Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) also added an empty net goal for added measure in the third (19:35).
In goal, Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) turned away 19 shots for her eighth career shutout.

- The Gulls are 6-2-0 on the road this season.
- Endicott is 11-3-0 versus UNE all-time.
