Women’s Ice Hockey Dominates Curry On Senior Day, 6-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Curry, 6-1, in conference action on Saturday afternoon at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Prior to the game, Nicole Connor (Wrentham, Mass.), Sydney Fascetta (Dover, N.H.), Madison Hentosh (Peabody, Mass.), Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.), Kat Keith (Westwood, Mass.), Kaylee Liberty (Arlington Heights, Ill.), Catherine Miles (Northfield, Vt.), Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.), Kellie Popkin (Walpole, Mass.), Morgan Sisson (Concord, N.H.), Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.), were honored for their contributions to the women's ice hockey program and the Endicott community.

As for the contest, Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) scored twice while Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.), Keith, Jess Burwell (Hooksett, N.H), and Makenzie Villiard (Fenton, Mich.) all netted goals in the victory. 

In goal, O'Brien (30:49) and Theiben (29:11) split time between the pipes with two and seven saves apiece. 

BEYOND THE BOX 

  • Endicott remains undefeated in the all-time series versus Curry (7-0).
  • The Gulls are flying high on a seven-game winning streak.
  • Hayes leads the team with 19 total points.  
  • Melissa Macri (Plymouth, Mass.) notched her first point of the season. 
  • The Gulls finished the regular season 7-4-2 at The Nest. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (16-7-2, 14-4-0 CCC) will have a bye week heading into the CCC Women's Ice Hockey Semifinals. Curry's season comes to a close at 8-15-2, 5-11-2 CCC.
