Women’s Ice Hockey Upends Curry, 6-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Curry, 6-0, in conference action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

Kellie Popkin (Walpole, Mass.), Cammi Ahern (Oswego, N.Y.), Makenzie Villiard (Fenton, Mich.), Morgan Sisson (Concord, N.H.), Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.), and Kat Keith (Westwood, Mass.) all scored in the victory.

In goal, Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) stopped 13 shots to improve to 6-4-2 on the season (24-8-3 career).

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Gulls are 5-0-0 all-time against Curry.
  • Endicott has outscored the Colonels 28-0 in the all-time series.
  • O'Brien registered her fourth shutout of the season (ninth career).
  • Allie Cimis (Hanover, N.H.) collected her first collegiate points with two assists on the night.

Endicott (10-7-2, 8-4-0 CCC) travels to Curry (7-9-2, 4-6-2 CCC) tomorrow at 3 PM.
