Michals Named CCC Player Of The Week

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey sophomore forward Jess Michals (Westwood, Mass.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Michals scored goals in both games for Endicott last week as the Gulls picked up two crucial conference wins over the University of New England (UNE) and Suffolk.

She began the week by scoring the Gulls' first goal in a 2-1 victory over UNE on Friday (Feb. 10, road game).

Michals then factored into two of Endicott's tallies in a 3-1 result over conference-leading Suffolk on Saturday (Feb. 11) at home.

Michals had a goal and an assist in that game, giving her three points for the week.

She also finished with a plus-3 rating across the two games.

This is Michals' first career CCC weekly award.
