BEVERLY, Mass. — The No. 11 Endicott women's ice hockey team fell to Western New England, 3-2, in overtime on Saturday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Alyssa Murphy (Plymouth, Mass.) scored the game-winner at the 3:13 mark of the extra session.
Meanwhile, the Gulls received goals from Kaylee Liberty (Arlington Heights, Ill.) and Emmerson Hayes (Los Angeles, Calif.) in the first (18:32) and second (9:39) periods, respectively.
In goal, Bailey Thieben (North Syracuse, N.Y.) stopped 24 shots in the setback (2-1-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott still leads the all-time series 4-1-0.
- Hayes netted her first goal of the season
- Liberty potted her team-leading fifth goal of the year.
