Tennis takes first CCC match of the season, 7-2 over Salve Regina

NEWPORT, R.I. – The Endicott men’s tennis have now won back-to-back matches after returning from spring break after a 7-2 win over Salve Regina on Saturday afternoon in CCC action.  The Gulls are now 4-6 (1-0 CCC) and will face non-conference foe Clark on Wednesday, March 28th on the road. 

Salve Regina remained winless at 0-10 (0-2 CCC) on the season following the loss.

The Blue and Green first swept all three doubles matches with Olivier Joggi (Stoneham, Mass.) and Ben Randlett (Middlebury, Vt.) defeating their Seahawk opponents 8-5 in the \#1 position. 

The duos of Jake Cohen (Barrington, R.I.)/Eric Gandrup (Sudbury, Mass.) and Porter Williams (Raleigh, N.C.)/Tim Forance (Natick, Mass.) also won their doubles matches 8-2 and 8-3, respectively.

In singles play, the Gulls took the three through six showdowns in straight sets with Cohen, Randlett, Justin Warshavsky (East Hartford, Conn.) and Forance all earning points.  Only the \#1 and \#2 singles players from Salve Regina bested Endicott.
