BLUFFTON, S.C. – Playing in their second match of a five-match swing down in South Carolina, the Endicott men’s tennis team claimed a 9-0 win over Edgewood (Wisc.) to improve to 2-4 on the season.  The Gulls never dropped a set and all six players recorded both a singles and doubles point.

Juniors Olivier Joggi (Stoneham, Mass.) and Jake Cohen (Barrington, R.I.) shutout their Eagle opponents 8-0 at top doubles spot with the duos of Ben Randlett (Middlebury, Vt.)/Michael Laurentano (Winchester, Mass.) and Porter Williams (Raleigh, N.C.)/Eric Gandrup (Sudbury, Mass.) edging out 8-5 wins at \#2 and \#3 doubles, respectively.

In singles action, Williams fought off Edgewood’s Max Divelbiss (Middleton, Wisc.) in \#2 singles 6-4, 6-4 while the other five matches were dominated by the Gulls.  Joggi, Randlett and Gandrup all lost just one point each in two singles sets combined to take the \#1, \#4 and \#5 spots convincingly.
