BRISTOL, R.I. – The Endicott field hockey team closed out the regular season with a 4-2 victory over Roger Williams on Friday afternoon.

The Gulls got off to a quick start as Sophia Cogliano (Saugus, Mass.) netted the first goal of the game at the 8:24 mark with help from Maggie O'Reilley.

Cogliano also scored the second goal of the contest just over four minutes later to increase the lead to 2-0.

In the 21st minutes of the first half, Emylee Wood (Kensington, N.H.) tallied her seventh goal of the season on a rebound to give the Gulls a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

Endicott's Courtney Brown (Byfield, Mass.) tallied her career goal to begin the scoring in the second half. Madi Wood (Bristol, Vt.) pushed the ball in on a corner opportunity to Brown, who then took a hard shot from the middle of the circle.

Roger Williams responded with two goals from Lea Peterson (Upton, Mass.) to cut the deficit to 4-2 but the Gulls were able to stop any further advances to secure the win.
