2017 CCC PRESEASON COACHES' POLL RELEASE
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) office has announced the field hockey preseason coaches' poll and Endicott was awarded the No. 2 spot.
The Gulls earned a total of 38 points, to rank just behind defending three-time CCC Champion University of New England, who tallied 49 points and all seven first place votes.
Western New England and Salve Regina came in third and fourth places with 35 and 27 points, respectively. Rounding out the poll were Gordon (20), Roger Williams (19), and Nichols (8).
Endicott (11-9, 9-3 CCC in 2016) opens the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 when they host Wheaton for a 4 p.m. contest.
