BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott football student-athletes Nick DiCairano (Trumbull, Conn.), Kha-lil Goodman (Bellmore, N.Y.), and Joe Kalosky (Plymouth, Conn.) have all been named to the New England Football Writers College Division All-New England Team. It was announced by the organization yesterday.
In total, 29 student-athletes representing 20 different programs were selected to the 2019 New England Football Writers College Division All-New England Team.
Among those programs, Endicott had the most representatives of any team selected to the All-New England squad with three total after coming off a 52-10 New England Bowl win over Dean College last Saturday. Overall, the Gulls finished their 2019 campaign with a 9-2 overall record and a 6-1 mark in Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) play.
NICK DICAIRANO | SENIOR | KICKER
DiCairano put together another stellar year for the Gulls as the senior placekicker paced the conference in field goals made (13), field goal attempts (19), longest field goal made (47 yards), PATs made (57), PAT% (100%), and points (96). He also ranked second in the league in PAT attempts (57) and third in field goal percentage (68%).
Meanwhile, among all NCAA Division III kickers, DiCairano currently ranks No. 11 in field goals made per game (1.18, leads conference), No. 30 in total points scored, No. 36 in field goal percentage, No. 44 in scoring (8.7), and No. 164 in points responsible for.
KHA-LIL GOODMAN | SENIOR | OFFENSIVE LINE
For the second time this season, Goodman has established a new benchmark for offensive linemen in the storied history of Endicott's football program. The senior right tackle became the only o-linemen ever to be named a two-time All-Region honoree with this week's NEFW All-New England Team announcement.
Goodman's other impressive historical feats in his career include becoming the only offensive linemen in program history to earn CCC Football Offensive Lineman of the Year honors (not once, but twice) and the only right tackle to claim three All-Conference First Team accolades.
Goodman's play this season elevated Endicott's offense to ranking first overall in the conference in points per game (41.5) and total points (457). The Gulls also finished the year second in total offense, third in yards per game (414.6) and passing yards (2,710), and fourth in rushing yards (1,851).
JOE KALOSKY | SENIOR | QUARTERBACK
In nine games played this season (all starts), Kalosky registered elite numbers at the quarterback position. Kalosky ended the year ranked first in the conference in completion percentage (71.2%), yards per game (270.3), pass efficiency (168.5), and touchdown passes (29). He also is positioned fourth in the league in completions (208) and yards (2,433), fifth in attempts (292), and eighth in yards per attempt (8.3).
Nationally, Kalosky ranks inside the top-50 in several categories including completion percentage (No. 4), completions per game (No. 13), passing efficiency (No. 16), passing touchdowns (No. 14), passing yards (No. 41), passing yards per game (No. 26), points responsible for (No. 12), points responsible for per game (No. 7, had four rushing touchdowns), total offense (No. 33), and yards per pass attempt (No. 41).
