13 Gulls Receive CCC Football All-Conference Honors; Kalosky, Goodman, & Opont Earn Major Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. — Thirteen members of the Endicott football program have received Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) postseason honors, as announced by the league earlier today.

Headlining the group of award winners were Joe Kalosky (Plymouth, Conn.), Kha-lil Goodman (Bellmore, N.Y.), and Sam Opont (Bridgeport, Conn.) as all three student-athletes earned major awards. Kalosky was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Year, while Goodman claimed Offensive Lineman of the Year accolades, and Opont was tabbed as the Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year.

Along with their major awards, Kalosky, Goodman, and Opont joined Isaiah Gibbs (Teaneck, N.J.), Allen Gibson (Seymour, Conn.), Grayson Maddux (Park City, Utah), Nick DiCairano (Trumbull, Conn.), and Neal Parry (Marshfield, Mass.) on the CCC Football All-Conference First Team.

Meanwhile, Shea McManaway (Lisbon, Conn.), Riley Shanley (Simsbury, Conn.), Michael LeFebre (Methuen, Mass.), Tom Lorusso (Stony Brook, N.Y.), and Anthony Bracamonte (Saco, Maine) garnered CCC Football All-Conference Second Team honors.

JOE KALOSKY | CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR | ALL-CCC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM

In eight games played this season (all starts), Kalosky has compiled 2,159 passing yards (269.9 yards per game) and 25 touchdown passes on 188 completions (262 attempts, 71.8%). Kalosky currently ranks first in the league in completion percentage, touchdowns, and yards per game, second in pass efficiency (166.4), fourth in completions, and fifth in yards and attempts.

Kalosky, who also has scored three rushing touchdowns this season, has thrown for three or more touchdowns in a game five times this fall. Kalosky's play behind center has also played a pivotal role in the Gulls' offense ranking second in the league in points (405) and points per game (40.5), and third in yards per game (403.7) and total offense (4037).

Kalosky is the first Gull to earn Offensive Player of the Year honors since quarterback Drew Frenette '15 (New Bedford, Mass.) did so in 2013.

KHA-LIL GOODMAN | OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE YEAR | ALL-CCC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM

For the second year in a row, Goodman was named the CCC Football Offensive Lineman of the Year behind his stellar play at the right tackle position. Goodman is the only student-athlete in program history to ever be named Offensive Lineman of the Year and the only right tackle to claim three All-Conference First Team honors.

In addition to those merits, Goodman joined Nick Molinari '12 (Staten Island, N.Y.) on an exclusive list with today's award announcement as Goodman became the second offensive lineman in program history to claim three All-Conference First Team accolades. Molinari, who earned two Preseason All-America honors during his senior season in 2011, claimed All-Conference First Team accolades in 2009, 2010, and 2011.

Meanwhile, this season, Goodman guided Endicott in ranking first in the league in red zone offense (16th nationally, .880), second in points (405), points per game (40.5), and sacks allowed (12), and third in yards per game (403.7) and total offense (4037).

SAM OPONT | CO-DEFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE YEAR | ALL-CCC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM

Opont is the first student-athlete in program history to claim CCC Football Defensive Lineman of the Year honors since the award was established in 2017.

In 10 games played this season (all starts), Opont has compiled 55 tackles (22 solo, 33 assisted), which includes 7.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks, to go along with one quarterback hurry and a forced fumble. Opont ranks third on the team in total tackles (50th in the conference) and third on the squad in assisted tackles (sixth in the league).

As a team, behind Opont's play, the Gulls are ranked No. 1 in the league in points per game (19.2) and points (192), third yards per game (361.7), passing yards per game (225.7), rushing yards per game (136.0), and tackles per game (72.3), and tied third in sacks (16).

CCC FOOTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

ISAIAH GIBBS | SR. | GUARD

Gibbs played an integral role in Endicott in ranking first in the league in red zone offense (16th nationally, .880), second in points (405), points per game (40.5), and sacks allowed (12), and third in yards per game (403.7) and total offense (4037).

This is Gibbs' second consecutive All-Conference First Team honor and third career (second team in 2016).

ALLEN GIBSON | GR. | DEFENSIVE BACK

In 10 games played (all starts), Gibson has recorded 47 tackles (28 solo, 19 assisted, 1.0 tackles for a loss), three interceptions (62 yards), two pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Gibson ranks first among non-linebackers/defensive linemen in tackles on the squad and tied for first in interceptions (fifth in the league).

This is Gibson's third career All-Conference honor (two First Team, one Second Team).

GRAYSON MADDUX | SR. | LINEBACKER

Maddux, who switched from the linebacker position to defensive line this season, has played in all 10 games on the schedule this year (nine starts). In those contests, Maddux has registered 34 tackles (11 solo, 23 assists, 1.5 TFL, one sack) to go along with three interceptions, one pass breakup, and one blocked kick.

Maddux ranks ninth on the team in tackles and tied for first in interceptions (tied second in the conference).

NICK DICAIRANO | SR. | KICKER

DiCairano currently ranks first in the conference in field goals made (12), field goals attempted (17), longest field goal (47 yards, three times), PAT percentage (100%), and points (86). He also is second in PATs made (50) and PAT attempts (50), and third in field goal percentage (71%).

Meanwhile, nationally, DiCairano is No. 11 in field goals made per game (1.20), No. 30 in field goal percentage, No. 47 in total points scored, No. 52 in scoring (8.6 points per game), and No. 199 for points responsible for, which includes all positions among all NCAA Division III student-athletes.

NEAL PARRY | JR. | PUNTER

Parry, who also doubles at the linebacker position for the Gulls, has notched 37 punt attempts this season for 1,408 yards (38.1 average). Parry's longest punt this season is 55 yards, while he also has nailed down nine punts inside the 20, caused four fair catches and registered three touchbacks. He is the only punter in the league to not have at least one of his punt attempts blocked this fall.

Among punters in the league, Parry ranks first in average, fifth in attempts, second in yards, sixth in longest punt, third for punts inside the 20, seventh in fair catches, and tied first in touchbacks.

CCC FOOTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM

SHEA MCMANAWAY | SO. | WIDE RECEIVER

McManaway has played in all 10 games this season (nine starts) and amassed 42 catches for 513 yards (12.2 average per catch, 51.3 yards per game) and five touchdowns. McManway ranks second on the team in touchdown catches, yards, and total catches.

Among all receivers in the conference, McManaway ranks No. 11 in receptions, No. 12 in yards and yards per game, and No. 10 in yards per catch and touchdowns.

RILEY SHANLEY | JR. | TE/HB

In 10 games played (all starts), Shanley has caught 29 passes for 360 yards (12.4 per catch, 36.0 yards per game) and five touchdowns.

Shanley currently ranks No. 10 in the conference in touchdowns, No. 18 in yards, No. 19 in yards per game, and No. 20 in receptions.

MICHAEL LEFEBRE | FR. | DEFENSIVE BACK

LeFebre has started all 10 games during his rookie campaign so far. In those contests, LeFebre has compiled 36 tackles (27 solo, nine assisted, 2.0 tackles for a loss) to go along with three interceptions (53 yards), four pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

LeFebre ranks first in the conference in returns for touchdowns (1) and fifth in interceptions. He also is No. 36 in solo tackles and No. 58 in tackles per game (3.6).

In addition to those figures, LeFebre's overall play has helped the Gulls rank No. 1 in the league in points per game (19.2) and points (192), third yards per game (361.7), passing yards per game (225.7), rushing yards per game (136.0), and tackles per game (72.3), and tied third in sacks (16).

TOM LORUSSO | SR. | DEFENSIVE LINE

In six games played (all starts), Lorusso has notched 24 tackles (15 solo, nine assisted), which includes 2.0 tackles for a loss and one sack.

Much like many of his other teammates on the defense, Lorusso's play has aided the Gulls rank No. 1 in the league in points per game (19.2) and points (192), third yards per game (361.7), passing yards per game (225.7), rushing yards per game (136.0), and tackles per game (72.3), and tied third in sacks (16).

ANTHONY BRACAMONTE | FR. | RETURN SPECIALIST

Bracamonte has made an impact all over the field this season as a receiver and a return specialist for the Gulls. As a kickoff returner, Bracamonte has logged 419 yards (18.2 average) on 23 attempts, while as a punt returner he has scored one touchdown on seven attempts (117 yards).

Meanwhile, as a receiver, Bracamonte has registered a team-leading 56 catches for 536 yards (also a team-best) and four touchdowns. He also has averaged 9.6 yards per catch and 53.6 yards per game (leads team).

Bracamonte currently ranks sixth in the league in total yards (1,085) and seventh in all-purpose yards per game (108.5).
