BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team (4-1) has been ranked fourth overall in the latest Grinold Chapter New England Division III football weekly rankings, as announced by the organization earlier today.
For the third straight week, WPI was ranked first by the voters as the Engineers garnered 149 total points, including 14 of the 15 first place votes (FPV).
Western Connecticut (124) and Middlebury (113, 1 FPV) followed suit behind WPI, while Endicott (108) and Western New England (97) rounded out the top-5.
From there, Wesleyan (75), UMass Dartmouth (38), Massachusetts Maritime (38), Amherst (31), and Norwich (13) concluded the poll, in respective order.
NOTES
- Endicott is receiving a vote in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Coaches' Poll.
- The Gulls are also ranked second in the Noontime Sports New England Division III Football Top-20 Poll.
