Endicott Stays Put At No. 3 In Latest Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Weekly Rankings

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team (3-1) has been ranked third overall in the latest Grinold Chapter New England Division III football weekly rankings, as announced by the organization earlier today.

For the second straight week, WPI was ranked first by the voters as the Engineers garnered 148 total points, including 13 of the 15 first place votes (FPV).

Western Connecticut (104, 1 FPV) and Endicott (101, 1 FPV) followed suit behind WPI, while UMass Dartmouth (85) and Middlebury (84) rounded out the top-5.

From there, Western New England (83), Amherst (77), Norwich (65), Wesleyan (43), and Massachusetts Maritime (18) concluded the poll, in respective order.

NOTES

  • Endicott is receiving four votes in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Coaches' Poll.
  • Last year, the Gulls finished 10th overall in the final Grinold Chapter New England Division III football weekly rankings.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (3-1, 1-0 CCC Football) travels to Salve Regina on Saturday, October 5 for a league matchup scheduled to kick-off at 12 PM.
