Women’s Track Shines At Sean Collier Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team produced two school records and 13 personal bests at the Sean Collier Invitational, hosted by MIT, on Saturday evening at the Morrison Track.

Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.) and Sarah Aylwin (Topsfield, Mass.) highlighted the Gulls with school record performances.

Rischitelli placed ninth out of 24 competitors in the 400-meter dash with a school record time of 1:01.92. Amanda Recupero '21 (Ipswich, Mass.) held the previous record (1:02.11, 5/2/21).

Rischitelli also was 10th overall out of 34 entries in the 200-meter dash (27.55).

Meanwhile, Aylwin broke the pole vault school record by nearly two inches by clearing 9-feet and 8-inches for seventh in the event. Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) held the previous school record (9-6.25, 5/2/21).

Aylwin's day also included a seventh place showing in the long jump (15-11.75) and a first place performance in the 4x100-meter relay (52.07) alongside teammates Kinneal Dickens (Merrimac, Mass.), Ava Esmay (Underhill, Vt.), and D'Angelo.

OTHER ENDICOTT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Dickens ranked fifth in the triple jump (32-4.75) and seventh in the long jump (15-7.50).
  • Flewelling cleared a height of 4-feet and 10.25-inches to place eighth (tied) in the high jump.
  • Esmay finished seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (16.86).
  • Kira Charrier (Dartmouth, Mass.) produced personal bests in the 400-meter dash (1:05.49) and 200-meter dash (28.97).
  • Ella Aldrich (Winchester, Mass.), Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.)Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.), and Catherine Schultz (North Kingstown, R.I.) combined for a fourth place finish in the 4x400-meter relay (4:31.89).
  • Schultz and Aldrich registered PRs in the 800-meter run with times of 2:38.11 (17th) and 2:38.13 (18th), respectively.
  • Jordan Williams (Boxford, Mass.) posted a time of 13.24-seconds in the 100-meter dash (ninth overall).
  • Kaylee Carver (Abington, Mass.) notched a PR in the 200-meter dash (28.16, 13th overall).
  • The 1,500-meter crew consisting of Julia Adrian (Noank, Conn.), Gabrielle Page (Londonderry, N.H.), Cate Herndon (Westwood, Mass.), and Emma Johnson (Reading, Mass.) all finished with personal best times of 5:27.89 (18th), 5:46.42 (24th), 5:48.38 (27th), and 5:57.74 (33rd), respectively.
  • am Ende led the group with a time of 5:21.11 (12th overall) in the event.
  • D'Angelo was seventh in the shot put (36-11.75).
  • Gates MacPherson (Thorold, Ontario) ranked 15th overall in the discus (99-8).
  • Taylor Moynihan (Hingham, Mass.) produced PRs in the discus (99-4, 16th) and javelin (68-2, 17th).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Saturday, April 30 at Gordon.
