2022 Women’s Track & Field Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's track and field team opens up its 2022 season on Saturday, March 26 at Wesleyan University. Here's a preview of the upcoming season.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Gulls enter the 2022 season fresh off their best-ever finish at the CCC Championships. Last season, Endicott placed third overall, its highest ranking in the four-year history of the program, behind a school record performances for points (130) and CCC All-Conference selections (13).
  • Kira Charrier (Dartmouth, Mass.), Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine), and Gates MacPherson (Thorold, Ontario) have been selected as the first-ever captains of the program this season.
  • Endicott's freshmen class includes 10 student-athletes covering every event. Three of those student-athletes, Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.), Ava Esmay (Underhill, Vt.), and Riley Rischitelli (North Brookfield, Mass.), also competed at NCAA DIII New Indoor England Regionals earlier this year.
  • The Gulls will compete in three regular season meets close to The Nest this season including the Snowflake Classic (Medford, Mass.), the Gordon Invitational (Wenham, Mass.), and the Sean Collier Invitational (Cambridge, Mass.).
  • This year's CCC Championship will be hosted by crosstown rival Gordon College (Wenham, Mass.).
