BEVERLY, MA -- Senior midfielder Jillian Zagura (Hudson, MA/Hudson) notched a first half hat trick as Endicott shutout Eastern Nazarene, 7-0, Tuesday night at Endicott Stadium.
The seven-goal outburst gives the Gulls (2-2, 2-0 CCC) 13 goals in two CCC contests. Eastern Nazarene is now 0-3-1.
Zagura opened the five-goal first half with a pair of scores at 3:50 12:15. Sophomore midfielder Allison Byrnes (Wesfield, MA/Westfield), Zagura and freshman midfielder Shannon Pillsbury (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) added the other tallies in the first.
Endicott did not slow down in the second as sophomore striker Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical) recorded her third goal of the season and junior midfielder Laura Fraser (Stow, MA/Nashoba Regional) picked up her first score.
Sophomore midfielders Kelly Dillon (Franklin, MA/Franklin) and Ashley Clark (West Newbury, MA/Pentucket Regional) had assists in the victory for the Gulls, who travel to Roger Williams Saturday (noon) searching for their third straight win.
