Emmanuel wore down Endicott today to remain undefeated, handing the Gulls their second loss in West Palm Beach, Florida. EC came out strong versus nationally recognized Emmanuel, but the Saints overcame Endicott in the second half, beating the Gulls 77-57.

Endicott set the tone early in the game going on a 7-0 run in the first 5 minutes. The first half was a battle with 9 lead changes and 4 ties. Guards Carly Haynes and Jodi Brown led EC in the first half with 11 and 8 points respectively. The Gulls kept up their strong defensive effort of the night before. Emmanuel went into the break with a one-point lead, 34-33.

The Gulls shots fell short in the beginning of the second half as they scored only 4 points in the first 8 minutes. Yesterdays overtime game versus Wesleyan caught up with the Gulls and the Saints took advantage of the tired legs, pushing the ball and outscoring the Gulls 43-24 in the half. Guard Chrissy Callahan sparked the Gulls in the second half. The senior captain scored a collegiate high 11 points on 4 for 5 shooting from the field including 3 3-pointers.

Haynes led the Gulls scoring for the night with 14 points. Sophomores Lisa Chartier and Holly Beth Wojcik added 10 and 8 points respectively.

Emmanuel was led by Jade Paez (19 points, 4 assists), Alyssa McCoy (10 points), and LaTeisha Johnson (14 points, 8 rebounds).

The Gulls record now stands at 2-6. Three of Endicott's six losses come to undefeated teams (Tufts, Wesleyan and Emmanuel). Endicott heads home to Beverly tomorrow to get ready for conference foe Colby Sawyer on Saturday at 1:00 in New London, New Hampshire.
