BEVERLY, Mass. — The third-seeded Endicott men's tennis team (9-10, 6-2 CCC) is set to travel to second-seeded Roger Williams (15-2, 7-1 CCC) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament semifinal round on Tuesday. Here's a preview of the 4 PM match at the RWU Tennis Courts.

Please note, both CCC Semifinal matches were moved up to Tuesday due to impending inclement weather anticipated for Wednesday's originally scheduled date.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Endicott fell to Roger Williams, 6-3, in the last meeting between the two programs on 4/2/22.  
  • Following the loss to the Hawks, the Gulls went on a 6-0 run versus CCC competition.
  • Roger Williams is 9-2 at home this season.
  • Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) and Janith Madhok (New Delhi, India) enter the match as the reigning CCC Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively. 
  • The Hawks enter tomorrow's matchup as the defending CCC Champion, while Endicott looks to advance to the league title match for the first time in program history with a win on Tuesday.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner between No. 3 Endicott/No. 2 Roger Wiliams will play the winner of No. 4 Wentworth/No. 1 Nichols in the CCC Championship on Saturday, May 7. The highest seed remaining in the tournament will host the CCC Championship (time TBD).
