Men’s Tennis Doubles Up UMass Boston, 6-3

MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team defeated UMass Boston, 6-3, in non-conference action on Thursday night at the Manchester Athletic Club.

In doubles action, the Gulls' pairings of Janith Madhok (New Delhi, India)/Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.) and George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.)/Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) were victorious at the No. 1 (8-5) and No. 3 (8-4) slots, respectively.

Endicott later capitalized on that momentum behind wins from Madhok, Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.), Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.), and Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) at No. 1 (6-3, 6-2), No.3 (3-6, 6-4, 10-8), No. 5 (6-2, 6-3), and No. 6 (6-0, 6-0) singles, respectively, to propel the Gulls past the Beacons.
