LEWISTON, Maine — The Endicott men's tennis team lost to Bates, 9-0, in non-conference action on Sunday evening at Merrill Gymnasium.

"Bates is a very talented team and well-coached. This match was good for seeing how we stack up against a nationally ranked caliber opponent. We will learn from it and move on to our next match," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo.
NOTES
- Last season, Bates was ranked No. 32 overall and No. 9 in the Northeast Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
- ITA national and regional rankings for this season won't be available until March 9.

Endicott (1-4) hosts UMass Boston on Thursday, March 10 at the Manchester Athletic Club (7:45 PM).
Bates (1-2) travels to Williams on Saturday, March 12 at 2 PM.
