Men’s Tennis Blanks Suffolk, 9-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team shut out Suffolk, 9-0, in conference action on Wednesday evening at the South Campus Courts.

Endicott only gave up one game in doubles as the pairings of Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.)/Julian Richtarich (Naples, Fla.) and Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.)/Brayden Allen (North Kingstown, R.I.) posted identical 8-0 scores at the No. 2 and No. 3 slots, respectively.

Meanwhile, Janith Madhok (New Delhi, India)/Collin Dinardo (Westport, Mass.) earned a convincing 8-1 victory at No. 1.

In singles, Madhok pushed the Gulls ahead 4-0 on the scoreboard with a 6-1, 6-0 decision at No. 2 before Daniel Rinkert (Ben Lomond, Calif.) clinched the match with a swift 6-0, 6-1 triumph at No. 1.

Endicott's other wins included Richtarich at No. 3 (6-2, 6-3), George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.) at No. 4 (6-1, 6-0), Will Bierwirth (Hingham, Mass.) at No. 5 (2-6, 6-1, 12-10), and Zachary Lane (Rutland, Vt.) at No. 6 (6-0, 6-0).

"We did a nice job staying focused, which can be challenging during a weekday match", said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We are doing good things both on and off the court and it's really coming together."
