BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team shut out Connecticut College, 2-0, on Tuesday night at North Field.
At the 11:16 mark, Jenna Seibold (Reading, Mass.) notched her third goal of the year off a rebound to give the Gulls an early 1-0 lead.
From there, Abby Carter (Richmond, Vt.) converted her first goal of the year after capitalizing on a penalty stroke just before the second half came to a close (27:54).
Rachael Lemay (Westminster, Mass.) also recorded a defensive save with time winding down in the fourth period (50:09), while Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass) had three saves to help the Gulls secure the shutout.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The Gulls remain perfect at The Nest this season (2-0).
- Seibold leads the Gulls in goals with three on the 2021 campaign.
- Carter netted her third career goal.
- Farrin has collected 18 saves in her four starts (2-2 overall).
- Endicott evened the all-time series against the Camels (1-1).

Endicott (2-2) will travel to No. 3 nationally ranked Tufts (2-0) on Saturday, September 18 at 12 PM.
