CCC RELEASE | CCC FOOTBALL RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott College saw 113 student-athletes earn academic all-conference honors for the 2021 fall season on Thursday morning.
Seventy-two Gulls were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference Team, while 41 more earned a spot on the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) squad, respectively.
Both figures are school records for the fall semester.
In order to be recognized as a member of either academic all-conference team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status.
The CCC Academic All-Conference Team is comprised of the following sports: men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.
Meanwhile, the CCC Football Academic All-Conference Team is listed independently from the other because it operates as a separate, single-sport conference under the CCC umbrella. This is due to the CCC taking over operations of the New England Football Conference (NEFC) during the 2017-18 academic year.
ENDICOTT HIGHLIGHTS
- Endicott ranked second among its conference competitors when combining both lists.
- The football program ranked first overall in its conference.
- The field hockey (16), women's volleyball (12), and women's tennis (8, tied) programs ranked first among all other CCC programs in their respective sports.
- Endicott topped its combined academic all-conference number from last fall (91).
