BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman outfielder \#Ralph Fidaleo\# (Fairfield, Conn.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. Fidaleo helped the Gulls finish tied atop the league with a 17-5 conference record.

Fidaleo hit .303 (10-for-33) over the Gulls’ final nine regular season games, driving in seven runs over the last week of the season. The rookie batted safely in seven games and came up especially big in the season finale against Western New England, where he went 5-for-9 (.556) in the twinbill with three RBI. Fidaleo laced the go-ahead two-run single in Endicott’s come from behind win over the Golden Bears in game two.

The Gulls will open the TCCC postseason on Tuesday afternoon when they host Eastern Nazarene at 3:00 p.m. in Beverly, Mass. Endicott beat the Lions, 2-1 & 6-5, back on April 5th.
