Haley, six other Gulls honored by TCCC
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott head coach \#Bryan Haley\# has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Coach of the Year and six other Gulls have been named to the TCCC All-Conference Team, as announced by Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Wednesday. Haley, who is in his third year as the Gulls’ head coach, led the Blue and Green to a 25-13 regular season record and finished tied atop the league standings with a 17-5 mark in conference games.

Six players were named to the All-Conference Team, headlined by First Team selection \#Benjamin Petrides\# (Belchertown, Mass.). The sophomore pitcher went a perfect 4-0 in four starts against conference opponents, posting a 2.83 ERA in 28.2 innings of work. Petrides also struck out 14 batters, allowing 31 hits and just eight walks.

\#Eric Lemke\# (Southington, Conn.), \#Ralph Fidaleo\# (Fairfield, Conn.) and \#Kevin Dupras\# (Belchertown, Mass.) all earned Second Team recognition. Lemke hit .391 in conference games, driving in 11 runs and scoring 14 times. Lemke slugged at a .500 clip and posted a .481 on-base percentage. Fidaleo batted .403 with 25 hits in 62 conference at-bats. The freshman also had 18 RBI and five multi-hit conference games. Rookie pitcher \#Kevin Dupras\# made six conference appearances, going 2-0 with the conference’s second-lowest ERA of 1.90. He allowed just five earned runs in 25 innings, striking out 15 batters and walking just four.

Designated hitter \#Aaron Santos\# (Cambridge, Mass.) and senior pitcher \#Nick Kelley\# (Malden, Mass.) were named TCCC Honorable Mention recipients. Santos had 20 hits in 64 conference at-bats, scoring 13 runs and plating 11 more. The senior worked 10 walks and also connected for six doubles. \#Nick Kelley\# went 5-1 in six conference starts, finishing with a 5.23 ERA. He struck out 24 in 32.2 innings while walking just six.

\#Bryan Haley\# earned TCCC Coach of the Year after winning 25 games in the regular season. Haley inherited a 16-21 team in 2007 and has steadily built the Gulls back into a conference in 2009. The Gulls finished in three-way tie for first place this season in The Commonwealth Coast Conference with a 17-5 record in league play.
