Pair of Gulls honored with weekly awards
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference has honored a pair of Endicott baseball players with a weekly award, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye on Monday. Senior \#Colin McGinn\# (Tolland, Conn.) was named the Conference Pitcher of the Week, while \#Colin Sitarz\# (West Hartford, Conn.) was awarded the league’s Rookie of the Week honors.

\#Colin McGinn\# recorded a 2-0 weekly record with a 1.23 ERA over two appearances. After picking up a win out of the bullpen in Endicott’s 11-9 victory over Ramapo, McGinn tossed a complete-game five-hitter over Amherst to lead the Gulls to an 8-1 victory. In seven innings of work, McGinn allowed just one earned run on five hits and one walk, while striking out five.

Sophomore outfielder \#Colin Sitarz\# posted an impressive .542 batting average (13-for-24) with four doubles, six RBI and six runs scored in seven games played. He registered multiple hits in five different games, including a four-hit, four RBI day in an 11-9 win over Ramapo, and a 3-for-3 showing in the nightcap of a doubleheader split with Amherst. Over the week, Sitarz logged a .708 slugging percentage and a .538 on-base percentage.
