BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's tennis student-athlete Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today. This is Hartman's third straight week collecting the award, and fourth time overall in her career.
Last week, Hartman aided Endicott to a pair of wins against CCC opponents Gordon (9-0) and Western New England (8-1) with a combined 3-1 record at the number one doubles and number two singles positions. Hartman and her doubles partner Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) won both of their matches at the number one flight versus Gordon (8-5) and Western New England (8-2), while in singles play, Hartman won her match against Gordon 6-1, 6-0, but had a tough three-set loss at Western New England 6-3, 3-6, 11-9.

The Gulls (8-1 (6-1 CCC) have a non-conference matchup on Thursday at home against Babson.
