SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Endicott women's tennis team continued its winning ways on Wednesday with an 8-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victory over Western New England. With today's win, the Gulls moved their winning streak to seven straight matches and their overall record to 8-1.

Endicott swept doubles action in quick fashion behind victories from Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) and Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) at No. 1 (8-2), and identical 8-1 wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights by Reilly Fitzgibbons (Killingworth, Conn.)/Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.) and Lauren Rahr (Waterford, Conn.)/Alexandra Barmore (Southington, Conn.), respectively.

In singles, the Gulls then earned a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 by Barnett and a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5 to clinch the match.
