BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's tennis student-athlete Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today. Hartman has now earned the accolade for the second straight week, and third time overall in her career.
In a pivotal CCC matchup for the Gulls against Roger Williams last Saturday, Hartman collected two wins; including an 8-6 victory at first doubles with partner Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) and a 7-5 1-2 (ret.) win at second singles to propel Endicott to an 8-1 victory over the Hawks.

The Gulls (6-1, 4-1 CCC) host Gordon on Tuesday, September 26 at 3:30 PM. Tuesday's match will serve as Senior Day for Endicott's lone senior, Bergstein. Prior to the match, Bergstein will be honored for her contributions towards the program and the Endicott Community.
