Women’s Tennis Selected Second In CCC Preseason Poll

2017 CCC PRESEASON POLL

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis program has been picked to finish second overall in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, as voted upon by the league's nine head coaches.

Defending CCC champion Nichols College was chosen to retain its crown after collecting 80 points, including eight out of the conference's nine first place votes. 

Endicott followed in second place with 72 points (1 first place vote), while Roger Williams ranked third (62), and Gordon (56) and Western New England (44) followed suit in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Meanwhile, Eastern Nazarene (30), Wentworth (27), Salve Regina (23), and Curry (11) rounded out the remainder of the poll in exact order.

The Gulls will begin their 2017 campaign on September 4 at home against Bridgewater State University in non-conference action at 12 PM.
