2017 WOMEN'S TENNIS VIDEO SEASON PREVIEW

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team begins its 2017 season on Monday, September 4 at home against Bridgewater State University at 12 PM. Here's a preview of the upcoming season for the Gulls.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): After winning five straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) titles from 2011-2015, the Endicott women's tennis team looks to return to the top of the conference in 2017 after falling in the CCC championship match last fall.

The Gulls bring back five All-Conference selections in Hayley Barnett (Marlboro, N.J.), Lauren Rahr (Waterford, Conn.), Margot Andreasen (Portland, Maine), Gillian Freter (Scituate, Mass.) and Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.), and a talented recruiting class that will aid them in their push towards a seventh straight CCC title match appearance.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR (SCHEDULE): After their season opener versus Bridgewater State, the Gulls travel to defending CCC champion Nichols on Thursday, September 7 for a rematch of last year's title clash. Endicott will then host five more home contests throughout September before the CCC Tournament starts on Wednesday, October 11.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS (CCC PRESEASON RELEASE): Endicott was picked to finish second overall in the CCC Preseason Coaches' Poll, as voted upon by the league's nine head coaches.

2016 YEAR IN REVIEW: Endicott went 12-7 overall and 7-1 in conference play. The Gulls also advanced to the CCC Championship for the sixth straight season, but fell short in capturing their sixth straight conference title to Nichols.
