2015 NSCAA Division III Women's Scholar All-East Region Teams

BEVERLY, Mass.- Endicott women's soccer seniors Katherine Chipman (Brunswick, Maine) and Paige Marinelli (Burlington, Conn.) continued to add to their already impressive 2015 campaigns over the weekend. Both Chipman and Marinelli were named to the NEWISA Division III All-New England teams while Marinelli also received NSCAA Scholar All-Region East honors.

Chipman was named to the 2015 NEWISA Division III All-New England Third Team for her efforts on the Endicott back line. A three year starter, the back led a defensive unit that allowed only 19 goals in 20 matches played this season. Over Chipman's time as a starter, the Gulls allowed 55 goals in 63 matches total. Endicott posted seven shutouts in 2015, and allowed one or fewer 15 times. The Maine native adds the All-NEWISA honor to All-CCC First Team and All-ECAC DIII New England Second Team honors.

Marinelli, a midfielder, was named to the 2015 NEWISA Division III All-New England Second Team and also to the 2015 NSCAA NCAA Division III Women's Scholar All-East Region team. After posting career bests with five goals and five assists for 15 points in 2015, Marinelli finished her career with 15 goals and 12 assists for 42 points. The Scholar All-Region honors follow an academic career in which the Exercise Science major posted a 3.60 GPA heading into her final semester college. Marinelli was previously named All-CCC First Team, All-ECAC DIII New England Second Team and NSCAA New England All-Region Second Team, as well.
