2015 CCC Women's Soccer Preseason Poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- The Endicott women's soccer team has been picked second in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Poll as was announced by the Commissioner's Office on Monday.

The Gulls received 87 points towards the poll after finishing the 2014 campaign with a 10-5-4 record overall and a 6-2-1 record in CCC play. Last season came to a end in the CCC Quarterfinals, one year after Endicott claimed the 10th conference title in program history.

Defending champions Roger Williams were the unanimous number one pick, garnering 100 points to lead the poll. The Nor'Easters of the University of New England received 71 points from the 10 conference coaches while cross-town rival Gordon received 68 to round out the top four.

Claiming 57 points and fifth place on the poll is Wentworth, a team that avenged a regular season loss to knock out the Gulls in the CCC Quarterfinals. The Leopards are followed by Eastern Nazarene (49 points) and Western New England (45 points) in sixth and seventh respectively. A tie between Nichols and Curry (27 points) for eighth saw those programs edge out Salve Regina (19 points) to close out the poll.
