Women’s Soccer Downs Curry, 2-0

MILTON, Mass. – The Endicott women's soccer team controlled play against Curry throughout the entire match to claim an eventual 2-0 victory over the Colonels in CCC action on Saturday afternoon at Walter M. Katz Field.

Scoreless after 45 minutes of play, Endicott senior midfielder Ashley Mueskes (Georgetown, Mass.) finally broke open the shutout at the 46:26 mark of the contest with her team-leading fifth goal of the season.

Mueskes then set up sophomore forward Rachel Hanna (Chelmsford, Mass.) later in the match (68:03) with a perfectly executed cross that was headed home by Hanna for the all-important insurance goal.

Endicott goalkeeper Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) continued her fine play of late in net for the Gulls as the sophomore stopped four shots to improve to 5-2-1 overall and record her first shutout of the season.

The Blue and Green outshot Curry 27-10, and also held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
