BEVERLY, Mass.- The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) announced the selections for the 2015 Senior Bowl this weekend and Endicott saw three members receive an invitation in LeeAnn Card (Paxton, Mass.)Katherine Chipman (Brunswick, Maine) and Paige Marinelli (Burlington, Conn.)

The three women earned the selections after helping to guide the Gulls to a 49-24-13 record overall in their four seasons of play and a sparkling 26-7-3 record in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. Under their leadership, the women claimed the CCC Championship in 2013, after which they advanced to the second round of the NCAA DIII Tournament, as well as an ECAC DIII New England Championship in 2012. The 2015 team posted a 9-8-3 (5-3-1 CCC) record and advanced to the CCC Semifinals before then making an appearance in the ECAC Quarterfinals.

Card, a four year starter, completed her Endicott career having started 68 games and playing in a total of 83. The natural midfielder, who moved to defense during her senior campaign and shored up the back line, finished with 11 goals and three assists for 25 points during her time on the field. The Paxton, Mass. native also recorded four game-winners during her time dawning the Blue and Green which was highlighted by her goal in the first round of the NCAA DIII Tournament against Scranton.

Chipman, a three year starter, finished her Endicott career having played in 60 games, starting 49 of them. With the athletic defender on the back line, the Gulls allowed just 19 goals in 20 games, for a 0.95 goals against average. In her three years as a fixture in the defense, the Gulls surrendered just 55 goals in 63 games for an average of 0.87.

Marinelli, also a three year starter, closed out her playing career at Endicott having played in 70 games, 39 of which she earned the start in. The forward posted 15 goals and 12 assists for 42 points in her four years, posting career bests in all three categories in 2015. Marinelli scored five goals and recorded five assists for 15 points this season, as she led the Gulls in assists and was second in goals and points. The senior also recorded one game winner in 2015 as her goal lifted the Gulls to a 4-3 win over Eastern Connecticut on October 7, boosting her career total to four.

The NEWISA Senior Bowl will be held at Merrimack College on Saturday, December 5 at 12:00 p.m.
