Two Gulls Claim CCC Weekly Honors

CCC Athletes of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) released their weekly awards and  junior Siri Mason (Williamstown, Mass.) claimed her first Offensive Player of the Week award of the season while freshman Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) has earned her second straight Rookie of the Week honor. Both had tremendous efforts in the two victories for the Gulls this past week that saw them make program history as they defeated #13 Bates and CCC opponent Roger Williams.

Mason was a key contributor in the 11-10 victory over #13 Bates. Mason tallied an impressive four goals against the Bobcats including the game winner with 39 seconds remaining in the game on a free position shot. In the first CCC game of the season at Roger Williams the junior tallied an assist in the 12-8 victory.

Lennon has consistently been a key player on the attack over the last three weeks which has helped lead the Blue and Green to an overall 5-1, (1-0 CCC) record. She posted a goal and an assist in both games, the most important goal being against nationally ranked #13 Bates as she scored the first of a six goal run for the Gulls in the 11-10 victory. 

Endicott will see action next on Wednesday, March 26th when they host CCC opponent the University of New England at 4:00 p.m. in Endicott Stadium.
