In the opening minutes Whitney started the scoring for the Gulls with back to back goals with help from Murphy and junior Katie Tierney (South Hadley, Mass.). The Colonels fired back tying up the game as freshman Alli Schoff (Berwick, Maine) earned a pair of goals of her own.

The tie would not last for long as Endicott followed with five straight goals. The first being off a nice combo play by Murphy and freshman Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) at 17:08. Six minutes later junior Kirsten Thor (Longmeadow, Mass.) tallied an unassisted goal making it a 4-2 score.

Whitney and Murphy finished up the spree as Whitney posted her third goal of the game followed by back to back goals by Murphy as the Gulls took a 7-2 lead. Schoff ended the scoring lull for Curry as she hit her third goal of the game with help from senior Mel Brickey (Chelmsford, Mass.). To close up the half Whitney tallied her fourth goal of the game on a man-up opportunity with help from junior Siri Mason (Williamstown, Mass.) as the Blue and Green took the 8-3 lead entering halftime.

The second half was a tighter match in the opening 15 minutes, but the Blue and Green paved through taking a 9-4 edge.

Senior Rachel Campos (Shrewsbury, Mass.) opened up the half with her first goal of the game at the 28:24 mark. Brickey and Schoff made their second combo play making it a 9-4 score in Gulls favor less than 20 seconds later.

Lennon posted her first goal of the game off a free position shot, but Brickey was determined to get the Colonels closer on the scoreboard as she nailed her fourth goal of the game to cut the lead to five. Endicott rallied with two straight goals from Murphy and Whitney. Schoff answered back as she tallied her fifth goal of the game to compete with Whitney for points making it a 12-6 score.

Four minutes later, junior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) recorded her first goal of the game off a free position shot followed by a second goal by Campos. Freshman Emily Cutting (Ferrisburgh, Vt.) tallied the last goal of the short rally to take a 15-7 lead.

In the final three minutes of play Brickey found the back of the net for the seventh Colonel goal of the game but it was not enough as the lead would just increase with a fifth goal from Murphy and a second goal from Clayman to give the Gulls a 17-7 decision.

Senior Ryan Socolow (Westford, Mass.) made six saves in the CCC matchup as the goalkeeper improves to 12-3 on the season. Whitney tied her game high of five goals and her game high in points with six. Murphy also boasted seven points in the matchup to also tie her game high on the season.
