BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team (11-9) takes on Whitman (16-7) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 10 at 1:00 PM on the campus of MIT. Here's an inside look at this weekend's matchup:

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• The Gulls have earned the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons. 
• The Blues have won the Northwest Conference Tournament in back-to-back seasons.
• Whitman has won seven straight matches before Friday's contest. 
• The Blue and Green have competed against two teams selected in the 49-team field (Colby-Sawyer & Luther).
• Both teams finished with undefeated records in conference play (Whitman: 7-0 | Endicott: 6-0).
