BRISTOL, R.I. — The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Roger Williams, 7-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play on Tuesday evening.
The Gulls swept all three flights in doubles to carry momentum into singles play.
At No. 2, Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) / Samantha Hartmann (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) cruised to an 8-4 victory, while Endicott's top pairing of Ripley Uyeda (Ranchos Palos Verdes, Calif.) / Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) turned in an 8-5 win.
No. 3 Shelby Henry (Lincoln, Neb.) / Kaitlin Fitzgibbons (Nashua, N.H.) also manufactured an 8-6 triumph to complete the sweep.
In singles, No. 1 Guster (6-1, 6-1) and No. 4 Henry (6-1, 6-0) followed with swift victories to clinch the win.
The Blue and Green also saw No. 3 Keaveney (6-4, 6-2) and No. 5 Fitzgibbons (0-6, 6-2, 6-1) triumph at their respective flights.

"It was nice to play well in a difficult environment", said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "This was also our third match in a row, so I'm proud of how resilient and tough are student-athletes were tonight, and all week."
