TOP QUOTE

"It's great to play close matches to start the year, especially against a good opponent, while facing some uncontrollable variables like picking up a suspended match nearly two weeks later," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We will learn from today's match, move forward, and build off it."

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Today's match was played in conjunction with NCAA Division I and II rules which only award one point for winning the doubles portion of the match (best of 3, one point). This is in contrast to NCAA Division III rules which award one point for each doubles flight won by a team.
  • The doubles portion of this match was completed on September 9 then rain halted play, ultimately causing the match to be suspended and restarted today.
