Caliri Named CCC Defensive Player of the Week

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's soccer student-athlete Rosalina Caliri (East Greenwich, R.I.) has claimed Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Defensive Player of the Week accolades, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Caliri continued her lockdown year in net for the Gulls this past week, posting a record of 1-0-1 against Curry and Western New England. She did not allow a goal on the week, saving a total of six shots in Endicott's two matches.

On Wednesday against the Colonels, she posted her 10th shutout of the season, as the Gulls were able to take the match convincingly 3-0. Caliri collected four saves in the shutout.

On Sunday at Western New England, Caliri collected two more saves, posting her 11th shutout of the season.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (10-4-3, 4-0-3 CCC) hosts UNE on Tuesday, October 23 at 7 PM.
